Place Remodel

Engineers, Inc. is pleased to announce it has been awarded the
remodeling contract for Jonathan's Place. The
remodel work includes building new walls, ceilings, dutch doors,
hardware, flooring, painting, fire alarm, mechanical and electrical
systems to the existing facility.
Jonathan's Place is a licensed emergency shelter that provides
temporary transitional living services for children that are at
risk. Jonathan's Place is the cornerstone and most visable aspect
of the Kid Net Foundation. This wonderful non-profit organization,
founded in 1991 by Lisa Matthews, provides an extensive array
of outreach services for children throughout Dallas County. For

Texas.
Bill Larson of Bill Larson Architects
is the architect heading the remodeling effort at Jonathan's Place.
"We look forward to working with Bill Larson on this remodel
and also the phase 2 and phase 3 additions to the existing facilities,"
states Mitchell Meyers, Vice President of Joe Funk Construction
Engineers. Phase 2 and Phase 3 is a 24, 728 square foot
addition to the existing building. This project will start in
early 2004.
