1st Independent National Bank

Joe Funk Construction Engineers has been selected as the General Contractor to build the new 1st Independent National Bank at Preston Forest Shopping Center. The new bank is 5,500 square feet two story building consisting of structural steel frame and roof trusses, standing seam lead coated copper roof, metal stud exterior walls with a masonry and cast stone trimmed veneer. The Architect for 1st Independent National Bank is Smith Ekblad & Associates. Leading the team for Joe Funk Construction Engineers is Lou Sussman the Project Manager for the project. The Superintendent for Joe Funk Construction Engineers is Dale Donnelly.

"It is a great opportunity for us to work with Bob Ekblad again to build another1st Independent National Bank" says Mitchell Meyers, Vice President of Joe Funk Construction Engineers. We have built two new banks for 1st Independent and renovated and added on to another facility" says Meyers.

1st Independent National Bank will be completed by March 2006.
