DISD Bid Package #64

June 2005 — The Dallas Independent School District has awarded Joe Funk Construction Engineers a three school renovation package called DISD BP # 64. The schools to be renovated are Erasmo Seguin Community Learning Center, Harrell Budd Elementary School and Boude Storey Middle School. The renovations at the three schools will commence June 2005 and be completed by November 2005. The work to be done will include new fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems. Upgrading the Heating and Air Conditiong systems, Electrical systems and plumbing in the building. Also, included will be architectural work and finishes. The contract value for this project is approximately $4 million.

DMJM Management is the program manager for the DISD and is being led by Ike Egbuonye, the project manager. Joe Funk Construction Engineers is being led by Lou Sussman , the project manager for all three schools. The Architect for the project is Rob Genter at REES Architects a prominent Dallas Architectural firm.
