Macarthur Ranch Retail Center

March 2006—Joe Funk Construction Engineers was selected by John Westerhaus, President of Westerhaus Management, owner’s rep for River Street Development, to build a new 14,000 sf retail development project at 8350 Macarthur Blvd. in Irving, Texas. Included in the $1.9 million contract is construction of a shell building for an upscale shopping area including retail stores and restaurants, parking, paving, site utilities, retaining walls and landscaping. Completion date is scheduled for November 2006.
Representing the Joe Funk Construction Engineers team is Richard Lanier as Project Manager and Tom Stack as field superintendent. Cornerstone Architect is the design team on the project. “This project represents several brand new relationships for our firm and we are excited about working with John Westerhaus, River Street Development and Cornerstone for the first time,” says Mitchell Meyers, Vice President with Joe Funk Construction Engineers.
